Terms of service
Last updated October 21, 2026
These terms are an agreement between LoamWay LLC, a Michigan company (“LoamWay”, “we”, “us”), and the business that uses LoamWay (“you”). By using LoamWay you agree to them.
What LoamWay is
Software for lawn care, landscaping and snow removal businesses: a quote form for your website, property measurements, customer records, routes, a crew app for phones, statistics, and card payments from your customers through Stripe.
Your account and your people
- You are responsible for everyone you give access to, and for what they do in LoamWay.
- Keep passwords private, and remove people who no longer work for you.
- Tell us promptly if you think someone has got into your account.
Your crew’s location
- The crew app records where a phone is only while the person using it is clocked in, including when the app is closed, and stops when they clock out. What is recorded, why, and for how long is in our privacy policy.
- Before the app records anything, it shows each person a notice saying so, and they must accept it. We keep a record of when they did.
- You are responsible for telling the people who work for you — employees and subcontractors — that their location is recorded while they are clocked in, and for any notice, written policy or consent the law where they work requires.
- Use location records only to run your business, and lawfully.
Your information
- Your customer records are yours. You let us store and use them only to run LoamWay for you, as our privacy policy describes.
- You are responsible for having the right to give us your customers’ information, and for any permission the law requires — including their agreement before they are sent text messages.
- You can export your information at any time while you use LoamWay, and for 30 days after you cancel.
Payments from your customers
- Card payments are processed by Stripe, into your own Stripe account. You are the seller. Your agreement with Stripe applies to those payments.
- LoamWay never takes a cut of the payments your customers make to you. You pay Stripe’s standard card fees, and nothing more to us.
- Refunds, disputes and chargebacks are between you, your customer and Stripe. LoamWay is not a party to them.
- The prices you charge are yours to set and yours to stand behind.
Our fees
- LoamWay is a monthly subscription for your business: Solo $49, Crew $99 or Fleet $179 a month, as described on our pricing. There is no setup fee and no charge per person.
- Until online billing is available, we bill you monthly by invoice, payable when it arrives.
- Prices do not include any sales tax that applies.
- We will give you at least 30 days’ notice before a price changes.
Cancelling
- You can cancel at any time by emailing support or using our contact form.
- Your plan runs to the end of the month you have paid for. We do not refund part of a month.
- You can export your information for 30 days after cancelling; after that we delete it, as our privacy policy describes.
- We may suspend or close an account that is not paid, or that breaks these terms. We will tell you first unless the problem is urgent.
Using LoamWay properly
- Use it lawfully, and only for your own business.
- Only send text messages to people who have agreed to receive them.
- Do not try to break, overload or copy the software, or get into other businesses’ information.
Measurements and estimates
Lot and lawn sizes come from public records and maps and are estimates. Check anything you depend on. LoamWay suggests prices; you decide what you charge.
Smart measure is charged each time you accept one, at the price shown before you start it (based on the area you draw), and is added to your bill. If you decline the result, nothing is charged. Its results are suggestions for you to check, like any other measurement.
Changes to LoamWay
We keep improving LoamWay and may change or remove features. We will tell you about changes that matter to how you use it. We do not promise LoamWay will always be available without interruption, though we work to keep it running.
The legal part
- LoamWay is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we give no promises beyond those written in these terms.
- To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you for anything to do with LoamWay is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem, and we are not responsible for indirect losses such as lost profits.
- These terms are governed by the laws of Michigan, and disputes will be decided in the courts of Oakland County, Michigan.
- We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date and tell you about important changes before they take effect.
